2006 TVR Sagaris

If there’s one thing TVR were known for, it was how to apply a flip paint to car and not make it look as though it should be parked in McDonald’s car park on a Friday night and this is no exception. The Chameleon green paintwork showing the wild body lines of Blackpool’s finest to a tee. I’m not sure there’s a more fitting colour for the Sagaris, or any TVR for that matter. This particular cars’ wonderful appearance is helped with the low mileage and the fact that it has recently had a full two stage machine polish and a double layered ceramic coating applied, so that it’ll remain as beautiful as it looks now for some time to come too.

 

With a full and comprehensive history, you just know this is a car to keep. It is a very late 2006 registered car, which means it is ULEZ compliant too, so an ideal daily runner for the milk and eggs in central London. Its late registration is believed to be for very TVR reasons, IE the stockist took delivery of the car and subsequently went bust before being able to sell it, by the time the car was first registered it was into 2006, so one of the very last TVRs ever registered.

 

The cabin is beautifully appointed with the all-important factory AC, BTR diff and the full hide options ticked. The green stitching throughout lifts the interior to a very high level indeed, lightening the space and matching beautifully with the beautiful exterior.

 

The car drives superbly as you’d expect, having had 4 new tyres and a geometry set up, along with a fresh MOT for the new owner. The original stereo is with the car, we thought it best to leave the personal choice of the new stereo with to the new owner, so that you can spec it as you wish / have the original one refitted (up to you).

This lucky Sagaris has a huge 17 service stamps in the book, mainly all from the same well know TVR specialists and it shows in how the car drives rides and handles. You can tell instantly that this car has lived a cossetted life and has been given whatever care was needed without any regard to costs.

 

The chassis is in fine fettle too, having been waxoyled from an early age, preserving it for many years to come. The cars overall appearance and performance is up there with the best and really shows just what TVR were capable of in their prime. We really want more people to experience them as we know their name will return to good fortune and favour, as a well prepped late car plays in a league with the big boys that command much higher price tags, for less exclusivity and less performance too.

 

As well as the full detail and ceramic coating, in 2022 the front end and lower rear quarters were treated to PPF coatings to keep that beautiful paintwork in check for the coming years, a worthy investment and a bit of peace of mind for those worried about the paintwork and its upkeep.

 

This car comes supplied having had its last oil service only 150 miles ago, 4 news tyres and a 4-wheel alignment, so that the geometry is just right, the stereo unit of your choice and a fresh MOT, along with new fuel lines as a precautionary item, so you’re safe in the knowledge that you can turn the key and begin grinning like a Cheshire cat, knowing you own one of the most sought after, rarest and most respected cars ever to come out of Blackpool.
